Holiday Message from the Dean

As John Rogers Hall settles in for its long winter’s nap, we at the TU College of Law are completing the finishing touches on a remarkable 2008. The last 12 months have seen a whirlwind of activity at our law school and an ever-growing list of accomplishments. Our students continue to excel in the classroom, at moot court competitions, and on the bar exam. Our faculty are engaging in an unprecedented period of scholarship, authorship, and service. And, our alumni have shown incredible support of the law school through involvement in the mentoring program, attendance at Faculty Showcase Series events and constant contributions to the fabric of our law school community.

These successes, however, represent only a precursor of what we hope to accomplish in 2009 and for years to come. During this spring semester, I invite each of you to take a personal role in what will be a defining moment in the law school’s history – whether by participating on an alumni committee, taking a student under your wing through the mentoring program, or attending one of our upcoming events.

I hope each of you enjoys a safe holiday season filled with love, joy, and peace.
