Help Sought with Judiciary Wall Project
The TU College of Law has commissioned an in-house project that will recognize its alumni who have served in the judiciary, or as past presidents of state bar associations. The names of these dignitaries will be displayed on a wall plaque in John Rogers Hall. The plaque will be updated in five-year increments and the target date for finalization of the initial project is May 31, 2010. Our lists and records are incomplete, so any help you can offer is appreciated. We will begin by gathering names of all alumni who have served as federal judges. If you are, have been, or know of a federal judge, who graduated from TU College of Law, please submit names to Heather Rahhal of the Office of Alumni Relations at heather-rahhal@utulsa.edu or 918-631-3320.
Write On, Alumni!
The Mabee Legal Information Center has established the Alumni Writs Collection designation in its catalog to recognize and honor the accomplishments of our law alumni who have written, edited, or contributed to law-related books. Donating alumni authors must autograph their book(s) and include the year of their graduation from the TU College of Law. Donations to the MLIC collection by alumni authors contain a book plate acknowledging the author, book title, and other bibliographic information and will be added to the MLIC’s online catalog. If you would like to add your book to the Alumni Writs Collection, please contact MLIC librarian Courtney Selby by emailing: Courtney-Selby@utulsa.edu or calling (918) 631-3192.
