In addition to providing a broad historical context for U.S.-China relations, course also examines topics such as Chinese immigration to the U.S., economic ties between the U.S. and China, international adoption from China to the U.S., Christian missionaries in China and the future of U.S.-China relations in the 21st century. Course explores the full dimensions of U.S.-China relations over the past two centuries.
