| Course Description: |
Methods of language assessment and intervention are presented. Designed to introduce the identification and the treatment of language disorders in children. Categories of language disorders will be discussed, including language learning disability, hard-of-hearing, intellectual disability, and autism spectrum disorder. Linguistic, semantic and pragmatic assessments of language production/intention are presented and therapy procedures are introduced. |
