Course Description: Externships provide upper level students academic credit while gaining real world experience in a supervised field placement. Students learn under an attorney or judge while taking a simultaneous academic course. Placements in civil, criminal, judicial, transactional, non-profit and corporate law available locally, nationally and internationally. Each academic credit requires 45 hours of work in the placement and class attendance. Judicial hours are limited to three hours for state and five for federal placements. Full time and remote placements may be available during the summer or semester prior to graduation.
